I'm Brett. I live at elevation in the high desert and I wear flip flops to everything. This is where I write about it.

The high desert has a way of humbling you — the altitude, the temperature swings, the afternoon thunderstorms that materialize out of nowhere and vanish just as fast. I figure the least I can do is show up to it in appropriate footwear.
